Juliana Haen
I have been teaching languages for 33 years. I began my career as a teaching assistant and adjunct faculty teaching French at Mankato State University. When I finished my degree program, I took a position at Eveleth-Gilbert Junior High School where I taught both French and Spanish to grades 8 and 9 for 16 years. I also taught K-6 at both elementary schools. When the program was cut, I taught French and Spanish at Mountain Iron-Buhl High school, grades 8-12 for five years until I came to Milaca where I have been for the last eight years.

I teach grades 7-12, both French and Spanish, and I also teach French to area schools through ECMECC's ITV program. I am happy to give students in different schools the opportunity to learn with Milaca students.

I have been married for 32 years and have four grown children and two grandchildren. I live in Eveleth during the summer with my husband who remains there during the school year while I move back to Milaca. I enjoy reading and, oddly enough, playing video games which I have been doing since the days when I had to go to the arcade with a pocket full of quarters.

I enjoy teaching in Milaca. The students are friendly and the community is great!
