Milaca Schools is conducting a special election on May 8. The polling place for election day voting is Milaca City Hall, 255 1st Street East, Milaca. The hours for voting on May 8 are 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. For the voting question, see the sample ballot.


In Minnesota, you can vote early by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots are now available! There are two options for absentee ballot voting: by mail or in person. Vote early by absentee ballot by:


Step 1:
Complete absentee ballot application by downloading from or by requesting a copy from the District Office in person, by phone (320-982-7210), or email ( ).

Step 2:
Absentee ballot materials
will be sent to you.
Step 2:
Bring the application or complete
an application at the District Office.
Step 3:
Complete ballot using the
enclosed instructions.
Step 3:
Ballot materials will be issued to
you in person.
Step 4:
Return completed ballot
using the postage prepaid
Step 4:
Complete ballot using provided
  Step 5:
Leave completed ballot materials
with staff.

In attempt to accommodate all voters, the Milaca Schools District Office is open extended hours on Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for early voting by absentee ballot. In addition, the District Office will offer further extended hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., on March 27, April 12, April 17, April 24, April 30 - May 3, and May 7.


All absentee ballots must be received by May 8, 2018 to be counted in the election.
