Milaca High School Health and Physical Education

Our mission is to provide quality Health and Physical Education instruction by creating safe environments where students enjoy learning about healthy lifestyles and physical activities with lifetime benefits.

The intent of the Health Program is to help young people make independent, informed decisions concerning their physical, mental, emotional and social well-being. It encourages the student to discover their capabilities and responsibilities for attitudes and patterns of behavior that will promote a full and satisfying lifestyle.

Physical Education is a phase of education which offers an opportunity to improve physical, mental and social awareness. Our physical education program introduces a number of physical activities and sport skills which will facilitate participation in activities that the students can use the rest of their lives.

Physical Education is required in grades 7-10.
Proper dress is required: shorts or sweats, T-shirt, socks, tennis shoes
Active class participation is required.
Non-participation of a student for more than one day must be accompanied by a doctor's note.
