Andrea Swenson
My name is Andrea Swenson and I grew up in Milaca Minnesota and currently live here with my husband, and my 3 children 2 boys (ages 5 and 3) and 1 girl ( 2 years old). I love going for walks, fishing, camping, scrapbooking, going to Twins Games and hanging with my family.
I attended St. Cloud State University and received my Early Childhood Education Degree. I teach ECFE/ School Readiness and have taught in the Milaca School District since 2013.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Becky Haukos and I am a preschool teacher here at Milaca.
I graduated from University of Minnesota Mankato with a degree in Family and Child Development and licenses to teach Parent Education and Early Childhood Education. This is my 20th year (whew! those years have gone fast!) at Milaca teaching in the Early Childhood Department. I absolutely LOVE the early childhood years and I love watching children learn and grow and am excited to be a part of your child’s life!

My name is Christie Hostrawser. I grew up in Princeton, Minnesota and currently live there with my husband and son. I enjoy going for walks, crafting, and spending time with family!
I attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I earned my Early Childhood Special Education degree and Early Childhood Birth-3rd grade Degree. I started teaching here at Milaca Elementary school in 2013, where I am one of the Early Childhood Special Education teachers.

Mrs. Heather Rassler
Welcome to Preschool!!!My name is Heather Rassler. I grew up in Onamia, Minnesota and now live in Mora with my husband and daughters Layla and Lainey. I love being in the outdoors, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family.
I earned my Early Childhood Special Education degree at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2006. I began teaching in 2007 at Isle Public Schools. After teaching preschool for 5 years, I got hired in Milaca Elementary where I currently teach as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher.

Welcome to Milaca’s Early Childhood programs!
Hello! My name is Kim Wendt. I grew up in New York Mills, MN and now live in Foley with my husband Dave. We have three grown children: Our oldest daughter, Jessa, lives in South Carolina with her husband Kyle and their 4 children, Cole. Kaylee, Lydie, and Granger. Cassandra is in her last semester at SCSU and engaged to Robert. Jonah is in his second year at Hamline.
I have been teaching at Milaca Elementary since 2010. I currently provide home visits to young children and families as part of the Help Me Grow Early Intervention program.

Krystal Forbord
My name is Ms.Krystal and I have been teaching at Milaca Elementary in preschool since 2015.
I grew up in Hillman and attended Milaca school. I graduated in 2009 and attended St. Cloud State after where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. I also received my masters from St. Mary’s University.
I just built a new house in Hillman where I live with my husband Justin, my sons Hayden & Bowden, and our dogs Bailey and Chloe. I enjoy camping, riding ATV, crafting, and reading.

Dear Parents,
Welcome to Preschool! I feel very fortunate to be your child’s preschool teacher. Here is a little bit about myself. On top of teaching preschool I also facilitate ECFE parent groups and I am the ECFE Coordinator.
