Hello, My name is Rebecca Winkelman and I have the pleasure of being your child’s Kindergarten Teacher. I am very excited to welcome you and your child to the wonderful world of learning.

         I was raised in the Foley area on my parent’s dairy farm. I currently live in the Gilman area. My educational background includes receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Southwest Minnesota State University. I was given a wonderful opportunity to complete my student teaching in Sydney Australia. I have just completed my master’s degree through St. Mary’s University. This will be my sixth year of teaching, and my forth year teaching here in Milaca. Before teaching at Milaca Elementary I taught for two years in Garden City Kansas.

        When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with family and friends, running, reading, and cooking.
